An adorable coffee spot. Perfect to get a drink and relax. We kept returning to this spot during the duration of our stay because it was one of the best coffee shops we found in the country. Their coffee was delicious, their matcha was good, and their baked items were also amazing. We love the professionalism, the atmosphere, and the care they put into making our drinks. I would bring everyone I know to this spot. It’s hard to find good coffee makers in the country but their employees have nailed it. They also sell an assortment of wines if you want to have a drink during your visit. We did not get to try those out this time but we enjoyed all of our other drinks that were purchased. I would go back the next time I visit for sure! ~ Alex

We ended up here because we needed WiFi and somewhere to work; and ended up going back three days in a row because of how comfortable we were there! Great coffee, super friendly staff, and a fantastic everything bagel! We love that it is pet-friendly (our two dogs were happy to sit with us for several hours and the staff gave us water for them), they have different types of seating (couches, wooden benches, big chairs… indoor and outdoor seating). Added bonus was the quiet meeting space that we got to use for a bit (great for work calls). The cafe itself is a nice, quiet environment so would definitely recommend working from here - there are also lots of plugs available. ~ Meaghan D

The highlight of the visit, however, was the delectable selection of pastries and treats on display. I couldn't resist indulging in a freshly baked blueberry muffin, which paired perfectly with my coffee. The combination of the warm beverage and the delightful pastry was a true taste sensation. Some very modern vibes on Placencia coming from this relatively new establishment. Great selection of coffees, sweets, and succulents. Their "toasts" are the bomb! Spiked beverages using high quality liquor/liquors are so worth the price. Exceptional service and a totally chill vibe in decor and seating, both inside and out. My husband and I found this gem in Placencia while looking for a Chai latte. This place did not disappoint! The pastries was amazing and the customer service was impeccable! We loved it so much we visited 3 times on our 5 day vacation. The ambiance, cleanliness, accessibility, and great drinks and food is unmatched. Can't wait to visit again next summer! ~ Tish M

There are many coffee shops in Placencia but this became our favorite. A comfortable, inviting setting and a tremendously friendly staff made it a “go-to” spot every day of our vacation. We would start every day over lovely hand crafted coffee drinks and plan out activities. Some days we came back in the afternoon to re-cap our day. I would highly recommend ~ Mike M

First time visiting the establishment and was not disappointed. After the long drive to Placencia this is the perfect location to stop in especially if traveling with kids! I had the Mocha Frappuccino and it was just perfect. Not too sweet and nicely balanced chocolate/ coffee flavor. Place is spacious and kid- friendly. Inside(air conditioned) and outside dining is possible. ~ Becca

My gf and I recently moved into the neighborhood and are so happy to have Chillpoint as a neighbor. Delicious coffee, baked goods and ice cream, friendly staff, and kind management. It’s a great spot for morning coffee and a cool spot for afternoon work and a treat. I wish I could give it 10 stars. ~ Leif S

Quite possibly the best milkshake I’ve ever had. Think John travolta in pulp fiction after he tastes the $5 milkshake. My wife had the brownie with chocolate ice cream. I wanted to eat both but my gluttony only goes so far. Coffee is good too. Being from the PNW I’m kind of a coffee snob. 10/10 would recommend. ~ Jason R

A must try! Ambience and customer service was superb! Although it was a bit busy we still got our order surprisingly quick. Marlon was a gem! Great modern hang out. Lots of different flavors of ice cream to choose from. Cookies and brownies good. Champagne good but very expensive. Staff was very personal and nice. At the very north end of the boardwalk. If you visit the Placencia Beach Club make sure you stop by here before you head back into town. ~ Brandy B

Was excellent we stopped in for my daughter's 9th birthday to get some ice-cream even though they didnt have to they gave her an ice-cream of her choice on the house ...she was so grateful 🙏. Adorable! Nice places to sit inside and out. Parents - there is a little side area with a play yard for your little littles. Air conditioned if you need a heat escape but also the patio has really nice chairs if you want to enjoy your ice cream or coffee outside. Nice service and super nicely done atmosphere. ~ Darcy W

Chillpoint was such a pleasant stop in placencia! My two gf’s and I had a little work to do and this spot was the right choice. They had amazing coffee and so many drink options not to mention pastries, fresh meat pies and some breakfast items too. We loved the quiches, lattes, banana bread, meat pies and great WiFi! Chillpoint is the spot if you're in Placencia Village. Coffees were all good and although there are only a couple of options for hot food for breakfast, they were all good. The muffins and carrot cake were good too! We went 4 times in our 6 day vacation. Also went twice for ice cream which was very good too - try the Nutella crack flavor! ~ Michael R

Really beautiful atmosphere, really great and quick service. Phenomenal selection of delicious testing ice cream and they’ll let you taste the flavors first, unlike some other shops in the area. Really simple and delicious breakfast options, we loved their veggie and peanut butter bagels. We will definitely be back. ~ Lesley R

Your welcoming smiles as I came in the first time, to the willingness to help navigate me through your many delicious, home made scrumptious treats ) which I have tried different ways each visit. Your professionalism, your kindness in serving me at my table and checking in with me, made me feel extremely special and loved and appreciated. The atmosphere was inviting, comfortable, air conditioned serene atmosphere made it very difficult for me to be able to leave! This is truly a gem and my favourite new home away from home. If you want a unique experience that will leave you with a lasting experience and want you to move to Belize then come too Chillpoint in Placencia, Belize Did I mention they have wine and a VIP room you can use for events and business meetings, bathrooms are equipped with a lock allowing you to freshen up and also had a water station to replenish your water when you back to exploring this lovely place . Chillpoint is a great place to go for a coffee, an ice cream date, breakfast or brunch type food. Staff are very friendly, if WIFI is a big item on your list for whatever your needs are (i.e. working abroad, influencer type bandwidth needed - is hate myself for saying that) this is a perfect spot. ~ Jason B

Comfortable and wonderful atmosphere with air conditioning as well as outdoor seating. Staff is friendly and efficient. The turkey wrap was delicious! We had the most scrumptious cold cookie butter Frappe and the hot vanilla brown sugar cinnamon latte. ~ dana s

The service is a little slow but the food and drinks are well worth the wait. The restaurant itself has great wifi and is nicely air conditioned. The smoked salmon toast was delicious as was my coconut frappe. We went back this morning and the cookie butter frappe was excellent as well. ~ Tracey S

Luxury coffee shop conveniently located near the Placencia Beach Club. Perfect atmosphere to chill while reading a book or hanging with friends. They serve coffee, wine, baked goods, quiche, and ice cream. They also have a kids play area in the patio. Loved the local chocolate from Belize. 🇧🇿 ~ Oscar E
